Garland LeRoy Sheff, 80, of Mount Vernon, passed away at 9:12 P.M., Sunday, April 12 at White Oaks Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Mount Vernon. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 15 at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, with Reverend Robert Harrington officiating. Burial will follow at Smith-Veterans Cemetery in Jefferson County. Members of the Mount Vernon American Legion Post #141 will conduct Full Military Honors at the cemetery. Friends of the Garland LeRoy Sheff Family may call from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
