Former Illinois Congressman Staffers Summoned

(Springfield, IL) — Three of the embattled former Illinois Congressman Aaron Schock’s staffers have been summoned to testify in front of a grand jury in Springfield. The feds are investigating the one time lawmaker for his spending and use of tax-payer and campaign donations. The “Chicago Sun Times” says that Schock’s chief of staff Mark Roman, former media director Ben Cole and Peoria district office manager Bryan Rudolph were in Springfield Tuesday. The grand jury is expected to resume proceedings this morning.
