(Williamson County, IL) — A one-time employee in the Williamson County court clerk’s office accused of stealing thousands has been sentenced. Prosecutors say Cheryl Cundiff along with two other co-defendants took more than 80-thousand-dollars from the clerk’s office by taking cash payments from people bonding out of jail. Cundiff received four years of probation. She paid five-thousand-dollars in court and will pay the remaining 20-thousand-dollars over the span of her probation.
