(MT. VERNON, IL) — Mt. Vernon City Council is scheduled to meet this evening. Among items on the agenda, the city manager will request permission to seek bids for the reconstruction of Perkins Avenue from 10th to 12th Streets. Also the City Attorney will seek a resolution urging the Governor and General Assembly to protect full funding of local government distributive fund revenues, and a motion to authorize the Mayor to sign an electrical supply agreement for the city’s aggregation program for a rate not to exceed $.54 per kilowatt hour and not to exceed 18 months. The meeting will be at 7 p.m. at the Rolland W. Lewis Community Building.
