(Marion, IL) — A Marion man has been sentenced to 18 years in prison for sexually assaulting an eight-year-old. Eugene Lee pleaded guilty Wednesday in Williamson County court before he received his prison term. Prosecutors say the defendant committed the crime last summer in Marion. Lee was arrested in August after a long police manhunt.
