(Fairview Heights, IL) — Six people are recovering from injuries, but all are expected to survive a head-on collision in Fairview Heights. Police say a Ford Mustang swerved into oncoming traffic on North Illinois Street around 10:30 Friday night and crashed into a Chevy Impala. All six people in the two cars were treated at St. Louis hospitals, including a three-year-old boy and two teenagers. Two of the Chevy passengers had to be cut out of the car.
