VERNON, IL) — Fresh off his first State of the State address, Governor Bruce Rauner will be swinging through the area today to discuss plans to “Turnaround Illinois.” Rauner will start the morning at Truck Centers Inc. in Troy at 9:30 a.m. He will then make an appearance at the Holiday Inn in Mt. Vernon at 11:45 a.m. This afternoon, the governor will appear at the First Christian Church in Fairfield at 2 p.m. before ending his day with an appearance at Harlan Hall in Marshall at 5 p.m.
