(Alton, IL) — Alton Police are directing their attention to a series of recent car break-ins. Since Saturday, there have been 12 vehicles that were vandalized around the city. One man who recently bought a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix had it stolen Monday at Alton Square Mall. The car is still missing. Anyone with information about any of the break-ins is asked to call police.
