(Pinckneyville, IL) — The next mayor of Pinckneyville will become a part of history. On April 7th voters will elect either the first female or African-American city leader. Frances Thomas and Robert Spencer are the candidates for this spring’s election. Thomas is currently Pinckneyville’s city clerk and Spencer is retired and once worked with city, state and federal governments.
