MARION, Ill. (AP) — Services are set for a southern Illinois couple who died last week in what authorities conclude was a murder-suicide at their rural home. Authorities say 42-year-old Daniel Blaise shot his 43-year-old wife Amy Blaise to death late Friday at their home south of Marion before killing himself. Daniel Blaise was a commodities trader, and the couple had three young sons. Services for Amy Blaise will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Marion, followed by interment at Bolton-Trammell Cemetery near Stonefort. Daniel Blaise’s services will be private and are being handled by Pettett Funeral Home in Murphysboro.
