(CENTRALIA,IL) — A weekend home invasion has landed a 27-year-old Centralia man in jail. According to Centralia police, Christopher Sirmans has been arrested for alleged home invasion and battery, after he allegedly pushed his way into his ex-wife’s home on South Hickory Street and attacked a man inside the house. The 23-year-old man was allegedly dragged off the bed, beaten, thrown into a closet and bitten by Sirmans’ dog. Police were called and took Sirmans into custody. His alleged victim was transported to St. Mary’s Good Samaritan Hospital in Centralia for treatment of injuries.
