Lillian Ruth Scott, 89, of Mount Vernon, passed away at 9:43 A.M., Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Lavender Ridge Dignified Memory Care in Mount Vernon. Mrs. Scott has been cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at First United Methodist Church in Mount Vernon, with Reverend Victor Long officiating. Interment of ashes will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn.
