(MT. VERNON, IL) — A road closure has been announced for the city of Mt. Vernon. East Liberty Street located on the south side of National Railway Equipment from Shawnee Street to just past the railroad crossing to the east will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday this week from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents are asked to take alternate routes in their daily commutes.
