(Robinson, IL) — A southern Illinois community college is offering a new degree in fracking. Officials at Lincoln Trail College in Robinson, say the petroleum drilling technology program will kick off this fall. Anyone who completes the coursework will earn an Associate Degree in Applied Science. The program is designed to help students find a job in the fracking industry in Illinois, once it finally takes off.
