Bill Would Shoot Down Use Of Drones By Hunters

(Springfield, IL) — Illinois hunters would not be able to use an “eye in the sky” under a bill proposed by Deerfield state senator Julie Morrison. She wants to ban the use of drones for hunting and fishing, saying that having such a technological advantage is “basically cheating.” Violators could have their drones confiscated and face a misdemeanor charge and a fine. Several other states, including Wisconsin, already ban the use of drones.
