(Madison County, IL) — A man is in custody and a woman is in the hospital after a high speed chase that ended in a wreck Wednesday morning. Illinois State Police say the driver was trying to get away from DEA agents when his sports car slammed into a truck on I-55/70 near the State Park exit. The driver got out and ran, but was later arrested by Collinsville police.
