(Edwardsville, IL) — A construction worker is dead after an on-the job accident in Edwardsville. Officials say 31-year-old Justin Jokerst was crushed to death under the weight of a crane’s boom yesterday morning. He was part of the crew working on a 500-thousand-foot addition to a commercial warehouse on Lakeview Corporate Drive. He was pronounced dead at the scene. OSHA crews are investigating.
