(Nashville, IL) — Kids at Nashville Grade School are trying to cope with the loss of Piper Gutzler, the nine-year-old girl who was killed in a plane crash last Friday. School officials say six grief counselors were on hand at the school Monday. Students wrote letters to Piper and her sister, Sailor, to express their grief and show their support for the girls. Seven-year-old Sailor walked away from the crash with minor injuries. Counselors will be at the school all week to help students cope.
