(MT. VERNON, IL) — The Mt. Vernon City Council is slated to meet this evening at 7 p.m. Among items on the agenda, the council will hear from the City Manager on the capital projects report. The City Attorney will present on an ordinance approving tax increment redevelopment agreements with Kent Renshaw and Community First Bank and resolutions approving an agreement with EWR Associates, Incorporated for architectural services and approving a proposal or contract with Poettker Construction Company, Incorporated for construction management services associated with the renovations of the existing Illinois National Guard Armory Building. The meeting will be held at the Rolland W. Lewis Community Building.
