(Nashville, IL) — A special fund is being set up to help a seven-year-old Nashville, Illinois girl who survived a plane crash. Sailor Gutzler was the only one who walked away from the crash last Friday. Her mom, dad, sister, and cousin were all killed when the plane went down in a heavily wooded area in Kentucky. Her family says quite a few websites have popped up claiming to raise money for Sailor but the official site can be found at SailorGutzlerFund.com. The money will be used to pay for her future emotional, physical, and educational support. Meanwhile, Campagna Funeral Home is handling the private services for friends and family of Marty, Kim and Piper Gutzler. The funeral home is also handling the services for Sierra Wilder. The funeral home will also be accepting memorial donations for the family. Memorial donations for Sierra Wilder can be made to the family of Sierra Wilder, Washington County Animal Shelter or the Nashville High School Drama Club, and will also be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home. The only survivor of the plane crash, Sailor climbed out of the wreckage and walked three-quarters of a mile through rough terrain in the dark for help. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the cause of the accident.
