(East St. Louis, IL) — An East St. Louis man who was once convicted of murder is now a free man. A jury acquitted 30-year-old William Cosby on Friday. He was given a new trial following the drug scandal involving former St. Clair County Judge Michael Cook. Cosby was initially found guilty of shooting to death Antwan Thomas outside an East St. Louis bar in April 2012.
