(BENTON, IL) — A woman charged with allegedly stealing over $10,000 from the Franklin County Clerk’s Office over a period of two years recently made another appearance in Franklin County Court. Kindra L. Eickelman’s attorney, T.J. Parrish told Circuit Judge David Frankland that he is still waiting on information from the auditor’s report and that the state is ready to take care of the matter, but isn’t quite there yet. Parrish says he and his client are willing to work with the state to move the case along and ensure information for the case is gathered. Eickelman reportedly stole the money between September 2012 and June of this year. She was arrested June 13 for official misconduct and theft. She could face four to 15 years in prison and pay $25,000 in fines. She pleaded not guilty to the charges in July and is free on bond. Another hearing for Eickelman is set for Feb. 23 at 1:30 p.m.
