(Alton, IL) — An Alton man is facing charges after allegedly trying to solicit sex from a 14-year-old girl. Police say 21-year-old Christopher Colnaghi exchanged sexually explicit messages with the teen on Facebook. Her father tipped cops off after he found the messages on the computer. Turns out Colnaghi had been using a fake name on the Facebook profile. Police got his true identity by searching the Illinois driver’s license picture database. They’ve confiscated a computer and other digital storage devices from Colnaghi’s home. He’s being held on 30-thousand-dollars bond.
