MT. VERNON — On Wednesday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX / WDML News:

25-year-old Brandon Taylor of Mt. Vernon was arrested Tuesday for aggravated fleeing 2+ control devices, possession of meth less than five grams, and on two bond forfeiture warrants.

59-year-old Jerry Allen of Carbondale was arrested Tuesday for possession of meth between five and 15 grams.

42-year-old Bobby Smith of Granite City was arrested Tuesday for aggravated fleeing police 21+ mph over the speed limit, bringing a weapon into a penal institution, possession of a stolen vehicle greater than $25,000, and resisting / obstructing a peace officer.
