Wanda L. Lowry, 84, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at  November 18, 2019 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mount Vernon, Illinois. She was born May 5, 1935 in Dahlgren, Illinois to the late Jasper and Lucille (Lemke) Shingleton. She married Williard O. Lowry on October 6, 1963. They were blessed with thirty-seven years of marriage before he preceded her in death on May 8, 2001.

A Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 20, 2019 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will be held Thursday, November 21, 2019 10:30 A.M. at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois with Reverend Merle Fullerton officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
