MCLEANSBORO — The Hamilton County Board is expected to discuss and or approve the intergovernmental agreement between Hamilton County and the City of McLeansboro for Central Dispatch when the board meets tonight at 6 at the Courthouse in McLeansboro.

City and county officials have been in discussions for several weeks about coming to an agreement for Central Dispatch.

At last week’s McLeansboro City Council meeting, the council approved a tentative six-year contract for Central Dispatch with the first three years costing $48,000 per year and the last three years costing $50,000 per year.

Tonight’s meeting is open to the public.
