Jerry Lee McCracken, 83, of Mount Vernon, Illinois passed away at 11:27 A.M.June 30, 2019 at his residence. He was born January 27, 1936 in East St. Louis, Illinois to the late Joseph and Hazel Alberta (Lively) McCracken. Jerry married Janice “Jan” Marie Jones on August 11, 1956 in East St. Louis. They were blessed with nearly 63 years of marriage.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­at ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Jason Webb officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church or the American Heart Association.
