MCLEANSBORO — The McLeansboro City Council is expected to discuss and possibly take action on items regarding an intergovernmental agreement with Hamilton County for central dispatch when it holds a special meeting tonight at 6 at City Hall.

According to the meeting agenda, the council is expected to enter into Executive Session for the purpose of negotiating an intergovernmental agreement between the city and county for central dispatch and for the appointment and/or employment of specific employees. Then the council is expected to discuss and/or take action on this issue in regular session.

The agenda also includes discussion with possible action on accepting bids for contractual mowing of certain city properties, authorize the buy-back of the dump truck involved in an April 18, 2019 accident in which it was totaled, and appraisals of certain city properties.

The meeting is open to the public.
