Ruie M. Heil, 91, passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2019, surrounded by her loving family at her home in McLeansboro, Illinois.

She was born in Ewing, IL on December 28, 1927, the daughter of Marion and Amanda (Beaty) Capps.  Ruie was a retired cook having worked at the Hamilton Memorial Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in McLeansboro.

Ruie is survived by three sons: Larry Heil of Altona, IL, Steven (Debbie) Heil of Enfield, IL and Gary (Karla) Heil of McLeansboro, IL; three daughters: Sharon (Jerry) Shay of McLeansboro, Lola (David) Healy of Norris City, IL and Darlene (Jeff) Randolph of Auburn, KY; and two brothers: Marvin (Linda) Capps of Mt. Vernon, IL and Melvin (Inez) Capps of Evansville, IN.  Seventeen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchildren also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Floyd Heil; one infant stillborn daughter; three brothers and one sister.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date under the direction of Gholson Funeral Home.
