CENTRALIA — The City of Centralia’s Veteran Affairs Committee is planning its 9th Annual Fourth of July Parade to be held Thursday, July 4 beginning at 10 a.m.

The parade will commence at the intersection of West Broadway and South Chestnut Street and will travel west on Broadway to the Fairview Park entrance where the parade will terminate and participants may enjoy the American Legion 4th of July carnival activities at the park.

This celebratory parade will consist of an Air Force flyover, vehicles, bicycle and pedestrian traffic, and will include veterans, service members, families of service members, veteran or military support organizations and/or individuals wishing to display their support.

Parade lineup will start at 9 am at the intersection of Chestnut Street and Broadway.

Any organization, club, dance team, group or individual interested in participating in the parade may contact Butch Mathus at wamacer@att.net or obtain an entry form at Centralia City Hall or by visiting the City’s website at cityofcentralia.org.  All parade entries must be received no later than June 24.
