MARION — Marion police are currently looking for a 22-year-old man with ties to Centralia as a person of interest in several calls of shots being fired Tuesday night.

Marion police are searching for Devale L. Johnson, of Georgia. They say they responded to the scene around 11 p.m. Tuesday and met with a victim who said that someone shot several rounds at him while he was sitting in his vehicle.

Johnson was shot at Laura Leake Park in Centralia in 2016 while reportedly staying with family in Centralia for the summer.

The man who shot Johnson, Darius Holliday, was eventually sentenced to 30 years in prison for that shooting.

If anyone has any information concerning the incident or knows where Johnson may be found, call Marion Police at 993-2124.

Police are not releasing any more information at this time as the investigation continues.
