MARION COUNTY — Numerous drug-related charges contained in multiple Marion County cases have been dismissed against a 24-year-old Centralia man per his plea agreement in federal court.

Blake Storey pleaded guilty last week to a two-count indictment charging him in one count with conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute and the distribution of methamphetamine.

The second count is for the attempt to possess with the intent to distribute meth.

Storey was sentenced to 120 months, or 10 years in federal prison, which was the minimum sentence allowable by sentencing guidelines.

He was also sentenced to 5-years supervised release upon completion of his prison term. The federal court has recommended he be placed in the Southern Illinois federal prison in Greenville.
