BENTON — The Benton City Clerk’s office says the next City Council meeting will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall. The meeting was originally scheduled for its normal time on Monday, Feb. 25.

According to City Clerk Brook Craig, there was a scheduling conflict with Monday evening and to make sure there was a quorum, the meeting was moved to Tuesday.

Some of the items the council will discuss with possible action include a contract with Axon for body worn cameras for the police department, updating fire department facilities including ADA compliance and installing a generator at City Hall.

The council is also expected to approve a resolution supporting the sales tax proposition by Franklin County for construction of a new courthouse and to complete renovations to the Campbell Building.
