JEFFERSON COUNTY — Jefferson County Crimstoppers and the Mt. Vernon Police Department are asking the public for help in identifying two suspects involved in a battery late last month.

A male was walking in the alley when he was reportedly approached and battered by two black males. The victim received numerous injuries requiring hospital treatment.

The Jefferson County Crime Stoppers is asking for help in identifying the two suspects.

Any information that leads to the arrest may make the caller eligible for a cash reward.
