MARION COUNTY — Bail has been set at $250,000 for a 21-year-old Centralia man charged with battery to his father and grandfather Thursday morning.

Cody J. Donoho has been formally charged in Marion County Court today with Class 2 felony aggravated domestic battery and Class 3 felony aggravated domestic battery of a victim over the age of 60.

According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Department, they responded around 9:35 a.m. Thursday to a home in the 1200 block of State Route 161, where they arrested Donoho for alleged battery of his 64-year-old father and 84-year-old grandfather.

EMS was called to the scene, and the father was reportedly transported to SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital for the treatment of his injuries.

If Donoho is able to post bond, special conditions of release include taking medications as prescribed, abstaining from non-prescribed drugs and alcohol with random testing, and having no contact with Ronald Donoho.

He is next scheduled in court December 20 for a preliminary hearing with his court-appointed attorney.
